Landfill-Safe RNG Plastics' Technology Turns Fossil Fuel Plastics into Renewable Plastics*
85%+ of RNG Plastics are recycled in EPA regulated landfills. Mother nature renews them into renewable biogas or Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) products.
The infrastructure is already in place
- *No manual recycling required
- For most plastics and laminates
- Contaminated plastics are OK
* 90% of plastics are not mechanically recyclable (Greenpeace / APR) – RNG Plastics do no harm to the few that are. Consumers only need to “throw it in the trash”. The EPA regulated landfills (LMOP) do the rest.
Complies with:
California SB 343
California SB 54
FTC Part 260
Plastic Maker rules
Food Service
Contaminated, bacteria laden films, multi-wall pouches, paper laminated substrates, vacuum-formed containers, cups, straws.
Agriculture
Mulch films, shipping liners, film laminated cartons, seedling and grow pots, flower sleeves, plant ties, clips.
Commerical / Industrial
Printed films, trash bags, labels, mailers, construction sheeting, chemically compromised bulk sacks, liners, drums.
How the RNG Plastic Technology Works
A Landfill-Safe™ closed loop
Starts As Natural Gas
Fossil fuel plastics are made from natural gas. RNG Plastics' renewable plastic compounds modify the chemical composition into a renewable plastic.
No Fugitive GhG
Unlike bioplastics, oxo-biodegradables, and anaerobic additives, RNG plastics do not prematurely biodegrade releasing GHG or break down leaving microplastic.
Controlled Activation
Only after LFG (Landfill Gas) wells are drilled years later, or upon disposal at an Ag biogas plant, is the plastic converted into renewable biogas (a Low Carbon Fuel Standard - LCFS).
RNG and renewable biogas conversion at 500+ EPA LMOP landfill facilities* serve over 85% of the population
RNG Plastics’ proprietary formulae are scientifically engineered for time activated bio-assimilation of fossil fuel plastics in EPA regulated (LMOP partnered) landfills. They are turned into RNG and renewable biogas.
For PE, PVC, PP, PP, PET, and plastic/paper laminates.
• FDA approved, Prop. 65, SB 343, SB54 and FTC compliant •
